Hey there, fellow adventurers! Get ready for an exhilarating ride because I've got a thrilling story to tell. Come along as we uncover the secrets of our recent trip to VIT Bhopal and back. From train journeys to midnight strolls, this behind-the-scenes escapade is one you won't want to miss!
Setting Off: From Bangalore to Bhopal
Our journey commenced on the afternoon of the 16th as we bid farewell to the familiar sights of Bangalore. With our hearts set on adventure and our bags packed with anticipation, we left the office at 2:25 pm, ready to embark on a journey of a lifetime.
Upon reaching Yelahanka railway station, we eagerly awaited our train to Bhopal. While we passed the time, we were delighted by an encounter with an adorable baby, filling our hearts with joy and bringing a cozy warmth to our journey.
Once aboard the train at 4:10 pm, we settled into our seats, brimming with excitement for the adventures ahead. As the train chugged along, we indulged in snacks, engaged in lively conversations, and even caught a few winks under the starlit sky.
On the 17th, still aboard the train, we started the day with a refreshing breakfast, followed by chats, listening songs and watching a movie. At a station stop, we tried some spicy local food before returning to the train for more conversation and presentation practice. After dinner, we took a short nap, eagerly anticipating our arrival in Bhopal and the adventures that awaited us.
Arrival at Bhopal
With the dawn of a new day, we arrived at Bhopal railway station at 1:30 am on the 18th. A friendly cab driver was waiting to take them to VIT Bhopal, where exciting experiences awaited.
After a short journey, we reached VIT Bhopal and were greeted with warm hospitality. Their cozy accommodations provided the perfect respite, allowing us to recharge before the start of our workshop.
After a quick nap and some tasty tiffin, it was time to start the workshop!
The workshop began at 10:45 am, and it was a blast! We taught, we learned, and we had a great time with everyone. When 5:30 pm rolled around, we wrapped up the day feeling proud and happy.

After the workshop, we freshened up and went for a walk, enjoying the evening breeze. Then we had a yummy dinner and called it a night, ready for more fun the next day.
The Final Stretch On the 19th, we woke up bright and early for the last day of the workshop. It went smoothly. As the workshop concluded, our hearts were filled with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. We hopped into a car and made our way to the mess, eager to refuel with some snacks before returning to our rooms. There, fueled by determination and teamwork, we assembled two planes with care and precision, and gave it to the college.
With our bags packed and tickets in hand, we anxiously boarded the train back to Bangalore. While three tickets were confirmed, one was on a waiting list, causing us a moment of concern. Fortunately, it was also confirmed, easing our worries and allowing us to relax as we prepared for the journey ahead.
As the train rumbled on through the night, we indulged in a hearty dinner before drifting off to sleep. The next morning, we were greeted by the soft light of dawn as we arrived at Rani Kamala Pati railway station at 3:45 am. Despite the early hour, the station's beauty captivated us, providing a serene backdrop to our journey.
After securing tickets to Itarsi, we boarded the train at 4:45 am, ready to continue our homeward journey. We reached Itarsi at 6:45 am, where we ventured out to enjoy a delicious breakfast before returning to the station to await our connecting train.
As the day progressed, we filled the time with a combination of eating and sleeping, eagerly anticipating our journey back to Bangalore. However, fate had one final surprise in store for us. Our express train, which typically had no stop in Yelahanka, unexpectedly paused for three minutes. Seizing the opportunity, we quickly disembarked to retrieve a forgotten bag, sprinting back just in time to rejoin the train. At 1:35 pm, we finally arrived back home, filled with memories of our incredible journey to VIT Bhopal and back.
Despite the challenges and unexpected twists along the way, our adventure was a testament to the power of teamwork, perseverance, and the thrill of exploration.
