...is this career path worthwhile?
Since I was a young child, I have been fascinated by the likes of aviation and its many concepts, especially that of the military. Unfortunately, my parents frequently dissuaded me from pursuing this idea in favour of working a more conventional white collar job. While I'm not the best at maths, Finally, though I am in my senior year of high school and soon to graduate, having been accepted into every university I applied to with my interest in the matter peaking once more, while I’m not the greatest at math I did amazing in physics last year and was able to very much understand it, mostly due in part to its practicality.
Your excuse that "I'm lousy at mathematics" prevents you from achieving your aim of becoming an aircraft engineer. We are all bad at things we haven't properly trained/studied for. Consider that you must improve your maths skills.
Don't set yourself up for failure by assuming you lack the necessary aptitude for the job. Your goals are greater than picking up a few mathematical skills along the way.
You most definitely have the ability to learn maths like everyone else. Enjoy the challenge.
